Moot Court Competition (Chapel Hill, NC) in 20. cum laude from University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Baltimore Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Team at the James Braxton Craven, Jr. Michael is a member of the Maryland Receivership Act Committee, developing Maryland’s first state receivership act. Michael routinely represents commercial lenders in connection with commercial foreclosure sales, the acquisition of properties by deed in lieu of foreclosure, receivership cases involving income producing properties and the negotiation and sale or lease of REO properties by commercial lenders. Michael’s practice has also included the representation of commercial lenders, loan purchasers, investors in distressed assets, commercial equipment companies, vehicle financing companies and small businesses in connection with complex loan workouts, restructurings, chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, asset sales and commercial litigation matters, including real estate title claims, lien disputes, and proceedings to enforce judgments in State and Federal Courts.
